Students can apply for either the general clinical program, or our Developmental Psychopathology and Clinical Science (DPCS) joint program offered in collaboration with the Institute of Child Development. Students in the general clinical program will develop a strong background in psychosocial and biological aspects of adult and child/adolescent psychopathology, and can take a supporting program in psychophysiology, personality research, behavior genetics, or other content areas of clinical psychology that are of particular interest. Those in the DPCS program study psychopathology in the context of development, and obtain a strong background in clinical psychology and child development. In addition to course work, both the general clinical and DPCS programs include a research apprenticeship, assessment and therapy clinical practica, and an internship.
