With this professional degree, you will be vital to enhancing the social welfare systems that create and maintain a functioning society. The University of Michigan Social Work (U-M SSW) Program is dedicated to the training of social workers for roles and careers that have centrality and leverage within social welfare systems. This full-time program can be completed in 16 consecutive months, or in 20 months over two academic years. Students eligible for advanced standing can complete the MSW degree in 12 months. U-M SSW features nine different concentrations in the dual concentration MSW program. Students who do not meet the requirements may be admitted on the condition that these requirements are met prior to enrollment in the MSW program.
