On Campus

The Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) is an option for those without formal training in the field of education who wish to enter the teaching profession. It is well suited to recent graduates in the liberal arts and to adults seeking to change careers. A graduate of this program will meet state certification teaching requirements at the early childhood, elementary or secondary level. The program may be completed as full-time or part-time. The full-time program requires a full-time commitment to courses and field placement. The program will encompass a summer session, fall semester, and an extended spring semester.
