This program is designed for persons who have a bachelor's degree and wish to be licensed as a Teacher of Special Education (grades PreK-8/5-12). Students who successfully complete the curriculum are eligible to apply for initial licensure in this area. There are two tracks in the M.Ed. in Special Education. For those students that have an initial license in Special Education the M.Ed. will assist them in advancing to a professional license. For those that do not have an initial license there is a non-license M.Ed. in Special Education program.
