The Special Education Program prepares students for careers with individuals with disabilities. Graduates bring their specific skills to many roles, serving as teachers, as clinicians in social service agencies, and in day or residential group facilities; as assessment specialists and program evaluators; as family workers and career educators for children, youths, and adults with handicaps; as administrators and supervisors; and as therapeutic recreation specialists.
