On Campus

Curry College is an independent liberal arts college located on 120 rolling wooded acres in suburban Milton, Massachusetts. The College's main campus is situated about seven miles from downtown Boston. The Master of Arts in Criminal Justice program is also offered at a branch campus in Plymouth, Massachusetts. The MACJ curriclum is centered on four core courses that have been developed to prepare you for competencies in management, sociological/criminal justice theory; research and analysis; and reflective thinking and problem solving. You will focus on taking the four, three-credit hour core courses early on in the program and will also choose four elective courses from among the diverse curriclum offerings, which can be taken at any time during the program. Once the core courses are successfully mastered, you will be academically prepared and eligible to enroll in the final two Capstone courses. These final courses focus on developing a research topic and the writing and presenting of your thesis work or your scholarly contribution to the field of criminal justice.
