Orientation and Mobility (O and M) is training that teaches individuals with visual impairments, with or without other challenges, to move safely, efficiently, and independently in home, work, and community settings. Orientation and Mobility Specialists work with a wide range of individuals, from infants to the elderly, and may be school based or rehabilitation center based. This program is delivered online with the exception of one summer session which is offered at the Kentucky School for the Blind and provided hands on experience.
