For more than a decade, Kentucky has sustained a comprehensive school reform and accountability policy. The graduate programs in educational leadership at the University of Kentucky focus on the databased analysis of school improvement initiatives as they affect student performance and associated social justice issues in schools. The Masters program is fully aligned with state principal certification requirements. The more advanced degree programs, Specialist and Doctorate, offer research-based programs in the investigation and analysis of school improvement.
