The program's philosophy is student-centered and developmentally based. It is designed to provide the highest quality training in professional clinical mental health service delivery. Academic and fieldwork experiences are intended to foster a commitment to scientific investigations, to improve problem solving skills and critical thinking, and to develop effective intervention techniques.

   
Accreditation Information: The Mental Health Counseling Program is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs.
