For those wishing to continue on toward a doctorate, the Division cooperates with other departments offering doctoral programs in which a student can specialize in various theoretical and applied aspects of second language learning and pedagogy as applied to the English Language. DEIL's MATESL program is one of the largest in the nation and has a distinctly international flavor.
