Students in both programs work with their advisors to prepare programs of study that reflect their individual needs and interests. The Master of Manufacturing Engineering program is a course-only, professionally oriented degree program that requires a minimum of 30 credit hours. There is no thesis or comprehensive examination requirement. The M.S. degree program is designed to equip students with advanced knowledge and to prepare them for careers in research and development.
