Loyola’s Master of Science in Human Resources (MSHR) degree program is offered by the Human Resources and Employment Relations affinity group within the Graduate School of Business. This program is one of the oldest and most respected in the country and offers an extensive curriculum that delivers high-quality, contemporary instruction and training in a field that has been growing more and more complex over the past decade. An increasingly significant number of companies place a higher value on HR strategy, employee performance and development, benefits and work-life balance, EEOC issues, and diversity. Such companies look for well-schooled professionals who have received the best possible education and training. Graduates of the MSHR degree program have reached high levels of success at some of the most impressive companies and organizations in the world. Loyola’s MSHR degree program has been recognized as the strongest in Chicago, placing numerous Loyola graduates in some of the top human resources positions in the city. Students in the MSHR degree program come from a variety of settings, but most are working professionals from the manufacturing or service sectors of the business market.
