Loyola University Chicago’s School of Education serves more than 1,000 graduate students enrolled in master’s, educational specialist, certificate, and doctoral programs. The School prepares professionals in the service of social justice and promotes the Jesuit ideals of quality, intellectual rigor, and service to others. Loyola’s Cultural and Educational Policy Studies degree programs share the distinctive focus of providing an interdisciplinary examination of education as the dynamic cultural process that extends beyond the limits of the classroom. Within this area of study that embraces theory and practice, students conduct an analysis of education as a social process within a cultural context.
