On Campus

Loyola University Chicago’s School of Education offers Administration and Supervision programs at the master’s and doctoral degree levels and for non-degree certification. The program prepares educators for leadership positions in public and private schools, other educational service agencies, government, and faculty positions in schools of education. The administrative preparation programs emphasize the theory and practice of leadership in educational decision making, and technical skills in managing schools. Acknowledging the growth and diversity found in many of our school systems today, our program prides itself in preparing candidates equipped to handle the rigors of being an instructional leader in the urban and suburban school settings, making decisions within the broader contexts of equity and social justice.
