The M.S. program is primarily designed for students who have the desire and aptitude to pursue a Ph.D. but require additional coursework background before beginning PH.D. level studies. Ph.D. candidates majoring in Economics complete yearlong core course sequences in microeconomic and macroeconomic theory and econometrics. Students select two fields of specialization.
