The Bioinformatics and Computational Biology program offers training at the interface of biology and the computational sciences. Research addresses biological problems which require storage, retrieval and analysis of information about molecular sequence, structure, function and evolution. Student support, including fellowships from an NSF training grant, is provided. Applicants should have a B.A. or B.S. in either a life science (biology) or a computational science (e.g., computer science, mathematics or statistics).
