The department offers graduate programs in both aerospace engineering and engineering mechanics, with unique research facilities and tools such as micro- and nano- mechanical testing equipment, a tornado/microburst simulator, and a soon-to-be-completed environmental wind tunnel. For students in engineering mechanics, we offer state-of-the-art ultrasonic nondestructive evaluation instrumentation and composite materials fabrication and testing facilities.
