Students interested in any of the major subfields of anthropology (archeological, cultural, linguistic and biological) are encouraged to apply. MA students without prior anthropology may be admitted on the basis that they make up relevant undergraduate coursework. The program specializes in the anthropology of Asian and Pacific societies, with opportunities for field study.
