The goal of the graduate program in clinical psychology is the education of clinical scientists. A clinical scientist is a clinical psychologist who is able to make substantive contributions to our understanding of the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of behavior problems and mental disorders. The primary emphasis of our clinical curriculum is to provide students with the knowledge and skills they need to function as productive clinical researchers in psychology
