The program provides graduate training for individuals who desire to assume better positions in the food industry, governmental organizations, or academic institutions. The degrees focus on the application of science and engineering in properly selecting, preparing, processing, preserving, packaging, and distributing foods. Students are challenged with problems involving chemistry, microbiology, and engineering and with applied problems concerned with food production, stability, safety, and quality. The Master in Food Technology degree is designed specifically for working professionals.
