The graduate studies in the Educational Administration and Policy Program Area prepares individuals interested in schools and education in the broader context of education and offers programs of study that respond to the changing context of educational leadership preparation, school reform, and education policy making, offering the coursework for the M.Ed., the Ed.S., and the Ph.D.

Our programs lead to initial and advanced preparation for school leadership positions, including building level positions such as assistant principal and principal, and central office positions such as superintendent. The Ph.D. focuses on preparing researchers, policy analysts, and executive school leaders.

The Program in Educational Administration and Policy resides in the Department of Lifelong Education, Administration, and Policy at the University of Georgia.
