The graduate program offers an opportunity to study with accomplished scholars in one of two areas: Students may concentrate in the religions of ancient Israel in their Near Eastern context, New Testament Christianity, archeology of the New Testament period, and Judaism or Islam in its formative period. Students may also concentrate in topics and issues of religion and contemporary society.
An undergraduate degree in Religious Studies, or equivalent preparation. Other undergraduate majors are acceptable, but students may be required to acquire additional competence in Religious Studies without receiving graduate credit.
A minimum score of 1000, including a minimum verbal score of 600, on the Graduate Record Examination. Application Deadlines are as follow: Fall: June 1; Spring: October 15; and Summer: March 1.
