All students present their special projects û both orally and in written report form. These presentations require consideration of your project in the larger context of public health as a cross-disciplinary field. All faculty, students and preceptors are encouraged to attend and engage in lively dialogue about the studentsÆ projects. Concentrations - Biostatistics, Environmental Health, Epidemiology, Public Health Management and Policy, public health practice, and Social and Behavioral Sciences. Special Project - The special project is designed to give students the opportunity to develop hands-on skills in addressing a public health concern in their concentration area. The type of project is determined by the concentration area chosen and must be approved by the student's supervisory committee. Accelerated Program - A 42-credit program that can be completed in 12-18 months on a full-time basis or longer. This program is limited to health professionals who possess the terminal degree in their fields.
