The interdepartmental HRD Certificate is designed specifically for those interested or already involved in Human Resource Development responsibilities in organizational settings. Fifteen (15) credit hours of core and elective courses are required. Courses are available from several COE departments and include adult learning, program development, instructional design, evaluation, career development, and HRD system management. The certificate is available to special (non-degree seeking) students, or to any graduate student in good standing.

The graduate program in Human Resource Development is designed for entry level and experienced individuals who desire a career in training, human resource management, and organizational change. The program is designed especially for those who wish to learn at a distance.
