The specialization in Computer Vision and Graphics has the following purpose and contents:
  • To provide the students with understanding of the duality between computer based analysis of digitalized video images (Computer Vision) and computer based generation of digital images (Computer Graphics.
  • To give knowledge and understanding of computer vision methods of monitoring a dynamic world and control of processes on the basis of this monitoring.
  • To give knowledge and understanding of technologies of building Virtual Reality applications.
  • To enable the students to analyze techniques and methods and use them in building Computer Vision systems and/or interactive Virtual Reality systems. The specialization is built around a range of courses reflecting the two main elements of the specialization.
