The Department of Mathematical Sciences offers programs leading to the Master of Arts in Mathematics and to the Master of Science degree for elementary and secondary school teachers. Students pursuing the MA degree may specialize in statistics, computer programming techniques and numerical methods, actuarial mathematics, computer systems and software engineering, or operations research. Students may also enroll in a program which results in certification for teaching mathematics at the secondary school level.
