The master's and post-master's programs in this field are designed for educators who desire to pursue studies that extend their knowledge of the theory and practice of elementary education. Available options meet the continuing professional needs of experienced elementary teachers. Courses required in the MS and Post-Master's programs include opportunities for exploration, reflection, and decision-making. A post-baccalaureate teacher preparation program for initial certification as an elementary or middle level educator is also offered and coordinated by the Department of Teacher Education.
