This program is designed for early childhood educators desiring to pursue graduate study to extend their knowledge of theory and practice in the field. It offers students an opportunity to assess pre-kindergarten/early learning experiences which impact young children in and out of the classroom. Graduate study in early childhood education provides a broad base for understanding the young learner, examines curricular issues related to early learning environments, and focuses on the changing population of children. Courses required in the advanced degree program include opportunities for exploration, reflection, decision-making, and development of research skills.
