The Department of Soil and Crop Sciences provides a stimulating education and research experience for students seeking M.S. or Ph.D. degrees in the areas of plant, soil, water, and agroecosystem sciences. Graduate programs are developed in applied and basic sciences to improve crop production and management efficiency, to understand soil, crop, and environmental systems, and to apply soil and crop sciences to problems of environmental quality. Much of the department’s research is conducted collaboratively with regional, national, and international partners. Development of graduate student skills in research, data analysis, and scientific presentations are an integral part of the Graduate Program. Detailed information about graduate programs and the application process is available through the departmental web site, www.colostate.edu/Depts/SoilCrop/.
