The Interdisciplinary Telecommunications Program, the first in the United States, began at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1971. Graduating its first class in 1972, the program has produced an increasing number of graduates who have assumed telecommunications leadership positions in industry and government, both domestically and internationally. After over 30 years of experience, the program truly has established itself as an educational leader in the technology, planning, and management of telecommunications systems and continues to shape the future of global communications.
