On Campus

The Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing is for students who have already demonstrated ability in the writing of fiction or poetry and a commitment to what Flannery O'Connor called "the habit of art."

The program combines small, intimate, and intensive writing workshops with courses in literature, form and technique, literary magazine editing (The Colorado Review), and a wide variety of related electives, such as creative nonfiction writing, poetry translation, and studies in narrative voice.
