The Combined License and Master's Program (CLAMP) is designed especially for prospective classroom teachers. The program fulfills state requirements for teaching certification and leads to the M.A. in Education with a Specialization in Teaching. In the Combined License and Master's Program, students develop expertise in a specific area that will provide them with the skills to be leaders in the schools.

The Combined License and Master's Program requires 52 quarter hours of credit. The program includes 40 credits in DU's teacher education program, followed by 6 credits in curriculum leadership and 6 credits in one area of concentration (called a strand).
