M.A. - Spanish Literature
On Campus

The Spanish Section is committed to the study of literature and culture in their material and political context. The faculty encourages the use of a dialectical method which combines formal analysis with a discussion of broader social issues. The section is interested in traditional Spanish and Latin American topics as well as questions of gender and sexuality, Spanish-speaking communities in the U.S., culture and imperialism, and the relationship among the various literatures of the Americas. It is recommended that students conduct research across disciplines and national traditions.
