While only Ph.D. students are eligible for the Master of Science degree with a concentration in clinical psychology, others with clinical interests may choose appropriate electives from preclinical courses in the Master of Arts program. In addition, the Department of Psychology, jointly with the Department of Psychiatry, University of California,San Diego, School of Medicine, offers an APA-accredited program of graduate study leading to the Doctor of Philosophy degree in clinical psychology with specialization in behavioral medicine, neuropsychology, or experimental psychopathology.
