The objective of the teacher education program at Seaver College is to provide the training and variety of experiences in different school situations which will qualify teacher candidates for a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential or a Single Subject Teaching Credential. These credential programs were developed in compliance with requirements of the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Students interested in a joint program with both credentials need to meet additional requirements and must secure the approval of an advisor. The Teacher Education Program meets state requirements for technology and AB1059 English Language Learner authorization.
