The MAIR prepares students to meet the demands of managing and harnessing complex cultural diversity in our increasingly multicultural society. Designed for adult professionals who find the schedule and structure of a traditional full-time masters program unsuitable for their situation, MAIR students complete the core courses in 18 months through attendance in three 2-week residencies held in the Portland area every six months in January and July. Directed course assignments are completed at home between the residency periods.
