The Master of Science in Nursing prepares professional nurses for advanced and specialized practice. The curriculum is organized around the role of the nurse in societal institutions with emphasis on the application of nursing theory. Students may elect one of five role emphasis options: nurse educator, nurse administrator, clinical nurse specialist in parent-child nursing, or family nurse practitioner.
