Students who complete a degree in Biblical Studies at the Graduate Theological Union achieve competence in languages central to the program, acquire skills for the critical study of primary texts, and skills in the application of particular methodological approaches to the study of biblical texts. They are also prepared to engage interdisciplinary discourses that shape research and teaching in biblical studies.
