Students acquire skills for employment opportunities in such community settings as schools, nonprofit organizations, community development organizations and mental health provider organizations. Applied Community Psychologists focus on roles contributing to the wellness and stability of the communities in which they work. The Specialization prepares skill training in program development and evaluation, consultation, psychoeducational programs, in-service training, prevention, and cross-discipline collaboration. ACP core classes are held on weekday evenings.
