In addition, we prepare Nurse Educators, Nurse Administrators, and Quality Outcomes Managers for health care systems. Two of our options are available on-line, Family Nurse Practitioner and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner. The later being one of the few programs in the country and the only one available on-line. We are committed to access to quality education through our RN to MSN track and we stress preparation of culturally competent nurses for advanced practice roles.At the doctoral level, we offer a research-intensive PhD program that admits students for study either at the post-baccalaureate or masterÆs level. The former option, BSN entry, is streamlined for students who desire to jump-start their careers. Students select one of three focal areas where they will experience guided research experiences with faculty mentors who have active programs of research in the field.
