Philadelphia Living

When you ask any Philadelphian what it's like to live here they first boast of the accessibility to almost every area of the city. Public transportation is plenteous in various forms (buses, trolleys, subway, regional rail, taxi service and Center City's Phlash). For information on public transportation routes and schedules, visit Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) at http://www.septa.org. Locals excitedly inform their visitors of eateries in walking distance, and also of their cosmopolitan cuisine offerings from its Chinatown district to its Italian Market. When asked, 'what does your city have to offer?', Philadelphians vividly describe the city's historical center; the Italian Market; and the maritime adventure venue, Penn's Landing, which also features a dazzling nightlife of nightclubs, some of which feature outdoor riverside dining. If a leisurely afternoon out is what you desire, Philadelphians can immediately direct you to the many Fairmount park venues that the city has to offer. Most importantly, Philadelphians are convivial hosts, who welcome outsiders with utmost warmth and hospitality!
