Concentrates on the development of a high level of functional proficiency in the four language skills and in culture and literature. International undergraduate, transfer, and graduate applicants must meet English Language proficiency as well as academic and financial requirements before being fully admitted to the university. One option to demonstrate English Language proficiency is to successfully complete the UNC Intensive English Language Program. Please see the UNC website for more information.
