M.F.A.
On Campus

In addition to classes and workshops in writing, students in the M.F.A. in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts program take courses in creativity, book arts and small-press publishing. They send their work to established literary journals, create their own print and electronic journals and publish broadsides and chapbooks. The programÆs culminating project is the print or electronic publication of poetry, fiction, essay or memoir that every student has written, designed and produced. The programÆs unique integration of writing and publishing skills prepares students for lives of writing and makes them strong candidates for teaching (as this is a terminal degree) and publishing positions.
