Our graduate program seeks to train the next generation of scientists and physician-scientists to engage in research in genomic, proteomic, cellular, and organ-based systems for the purpose of translating this knowledge into disease treatment and prevention. On Campus   PEMM seeks to train the next generation of scientists and physician-scientists to engage in genomic, proteomic, cellular, and systems biology research for the purpose of translating this knowledge into disease treatment and prevention. PEMM is a degree granting program that encompasses five broad disciplines (ôthemesö): Cancer Biology & Therapeutics; Molecular Pharmacology, Neuroscience; Toxicology & Therapeutics; Systems Biology; and Vascular Biology. The Program is interdepartmental, consisting of students and faculty from the departments of Pharmacology/Toxicology, Physiology, Medicine, and Psychological and Brain Sciences.
