Naropa's innovative approach to art therapy integrates these areas within a transpersonal framework. Grounded in a foundation of contemplative training, students pursue didactic and experiential coursework in art therapy and transpersonal psychology. Program graduates are prepared for work as professional members of multidisciplinary teams within agencies and in private practice. Studio art classes (18 credits) including basic drawing (3), painting (3) and sculpture or clay (3).  International Student Requirements Equivalent of a US Bachelor’s degree, TOEFL score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based), 100 (internet-based)  Requirements Qualifying Exam: None Required Minimum Exam Score: GPA or Equivalent: English Proficiency: Yes Research Competency: No Clinical Internship: No   Work Experience Clinical Internship is recommended, but not required prior to application.
