SIT Graduate Institute's on-campus and low-residency programs in International Education prepare professionals for careers in study abroad, international student services, international recruitment, or student advising. The M.A. degree is available in both on-campus and low-residency options. The Graduate Certificate is low-residency only. Graduates work in schools, colleges, and other organizations that seek to increase international understanding through community education, citizen exchange, and educational travel. Students develop practical skills as they examine the theory and history of international education, compare education systems around the world, and research immigration law and practice. For the on-campus MA degree, Concentrations are available in International Education Advising and Educational Exchange Management.
