Master's
M.A.Ed. - Art
Online

At the University of Nebraska at Kearney the Master of Art in Education - Art Education online degree program offers two options: 1) for teachers in a K-12 school system and 2) for those who want to pursue a doctoral degree. Option 1 will prepare teachers who face today’s challenges in the classroom with the curriculum designed to address new pedagogical and learning theories. This degree does not grant certification to teach art in K-12 schools. Because Option 2 is designed for those who may want to pursue a doctoral degree, it is recommended that students take advantage of the variety of studio courses available on the UNK campus. The University of Nebraska at Kearney offers affordable tuition to out-of-state online students. For 2008-09, nonresident graduate online tuition is $281.50 per credit hour; resident graduate tuition is $180.25 per credit hour (fees are additional).

Accreditation Information: UNK is accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools and by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education.
