This program is designed to prepare teachers to teach special education in elementary or secondary schools. Students can earn their Preliminary Level I Education Specialist Credential or their Professional Level II Education Specialist Credential in Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe disabilities. Students who hold a Learning Handicapped of Severely Handicapped credential can earn a Resource Specialist Certificate. The program is offered at CLU's main campus in Thousand Oaks and at graduate centers in Oxnard and Woodland Hills.
