The Training and Development program prepares professionals to meet the human resource development needs of business and industry. Students receive a broad knowledge base in training and development: curriculum is flexible enough for those who want to acquire in-depth knowledge and skills in a particular area of the field. The program is especially appropriate for those who have a business or technology-oriented undergraduate degree or professional experience in business or human resources. Graduates will be able to analyze training and development needs; design, develop, deliver and evaluate training programs and material; manage and coordinate training efforts; and develop training and development competencies in managers and supervisors. The Training and Development program also offers a two year off-campus cohort option.
