The African Studies Program is an interdisciplinary center that coordinates Africa-related programs for fourteen (14) departments and five (5) professional schools. Undergraduate and graduate students must earn their primary degree from a department or professional school. Students can simultaneously work on a Certificate in African Studies (undergraduate students) or a Minor in African Studies (graduate students).
